Turns out, Ronda Rousey isn’t untouchable after all.
Ronda Rousey Can Recover From Her Loss With Lube Now
The now-former Bantamweight champion didn’t just suffer a brutal kick to the head in UFC 193 on Saturday, she predicted it. Appearing on the “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon in October, Rousey prophesied her own demise.
“She’s the type of fighter you have to be very patient with,” Rousey said, per USA Today. “She’s going to try to keep distance and keep far away from me and keep me frustrated and to the point where I’ll make a mistake and she’ll try to kick me in the head – but it’s not going to go like that.”

Wow. Well, I was obviously wrong. Incredible fight by Holly Holm. Hats off to her and her team.

Ronda Rousey getting rocked reminds me of Rocky III. Time to stop teaching the arm bar to Tim Kurkjian and get back the Eye Of The Tiger.

Now UFC faces a daunting task: attempting to care about someone else not named Ronda Rousey. But fortunately, not for long.
Rousey will have her chance at redemption sooner rather than later.
Dana on Rousey: "She's totally bummed out... It changes a lot of things now." He says a rematch makes the most sense.
