When the Seahawks battle the Cardinals Sunday night, Richard Sherman is better off covering someone that matters. There's no need for the two-time Pro Bowler to waste his time covering the likes of Larry Fitzgerald.
But don't take our word for it, take Fitzgerald's.
Ciara Responsible For Russell Wilson's Red-Zone Woes
"I haven't had 1,000 yards in three years," Fitzgerald said, per the Cardinals' official website. "I hope he doesn't follow me. Old, grizzly, washed-up veteran.
"Go follow Mike [Michael Floyd] or something, or Smoke [John Brown]."
Marshawn Lynch Proves Not All NFL Players Are Monsters
Nice try, Fitz, but no one is buying what you're selling. Especially entering Week 10.
In 5 games vs Larry Fitzgerald, Richard Sherman has been targeted 17 times. Fitzgerald has caught 5 passes for 87 yards and zero TDs.

In eight starts this season, Fitzgerald has amassed a team-best 55 receptions for 706 yards and seven TDs. Productivity on that level is worthy of attention.
The question is: how much?
Fitzgerald has primarily operated out of the slot under Bruce Arians -- a foreign location for Sherman, who likes to operate on the outside. Shadow coverage would open the numbers for Carson Palmer to dissect.
It's the main concern -- as Fitzgerald points out -- facing Seattle on Sunday.
"Who would he [Sherman] follow, though?" he wondered. "We're all pretty much the same."
Well, not quite. Not every Cardinals WR is as productive and "washed up" as No. 11.
