Odell Beckham Jr. has built a love-hate relationship with the Patriots.

Like most NFL observers, Beckham Jr.’s admiration for New England stems from the franchise's success since 2001. The adversity, the four Super Bowl rings, the controversy, all that shaped the young mind of a future NFL star.

Eli Manning Will End The Patriots’ Undefeated Season...Again

"I've loved-hated the Patriots for a long time," Beckham Jr. said, per Newsday. "I respect everything that they've done and everything they do year in and year out as far as being one of the top teams in the league.

“But on the other end, they've beaten all the teams that I like."

A product of New Orleans, one of those teams was undoubtedly the Peyton Manning-led Colts. A local boy done good, Manning suffered through a 11-5 record against Brady’s Patriots since 2001.

"You hate them because nobody was really beating them and you love them because no matter what they go through, even what they've gone through this year [with DeflateGate] to see how they've come out, they play football," Beckham said. "There's something about it I admire.

“But it's still one of my least-favorite favorite teams of all time."

Fortunately for Beckham Jr., he’ll have the right Manning under center come Sunday. While Peyton has struggled against his arch-nemesis, all Eli Manning knows is success.

In four appearances against the Patriots, the Giants QB is 3-1. Two those three victories came on the NFL’s biggest stage.

If there’s anyone who’s developed a true love-hate relationship with Brady and company, it’s Eli. He’ll look to write another chapter to his romance novel on Sunday.
