Jerry Sandusky will be able to collect his pension -- with interest -- after a Pennsylvania court ruled in his favor on Friday.
The disgraced former Penn State defensive coordinator is serving between 30 and 60 years in prison for committing 45 counts of sexual abuse against 10 boys; however, since there was no evidence his crimes occurred while he was employed by the university, the judge reversed the State Employees’ Retirement Board’s decision to terminate his pension.

The system works again. No, not really.
Sandusky and his wife are now in line to receive roughly $4,900 per month.

Sandusky's pension restored to $4,900 a month b/c no proof he was employed by PSU when the crimes were committed https://t.co/ikBxM5XURy

Folks have been bashing Penn State for the Sandusky pension. It has nothing to do with the University, this is a state employment issue.

This Sandusky decision is a good reminder that pensions once existed. And us millenials will be paying for them for years.

Court says no record of crimes while Sandusky was a PSU employee, but several victims at trial said he abused them while he was coach.

How can court rule that none of Sandusky's crimes were committed while being a member of coach staff?A victim came forward for '88 this week

Jerry Sandusky is gonna make over 4 grand a month, while I barely pass 350 every two weeks. Wait…

Unfortunately for Penn State football, a dark cloud returns over the program. The Nittany Lions return to the field Nov. 21 at home against Michigan.
