Cam Newton has put his name into the record books quite a few times during his young NFL career, but the Panthers quarterback is about to sit alone atop one major category.

The dual threat quarterback has won games with not only his arm but with his legs throughout his career. That talent is a rare one to master and Newton has it down to science, as the skill is about to have him setting a pretty impressive record.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Newton has thrown a touchdown and rushed for a touchdown in the same game 29 times in his five year career. Only Steve Young did that more, accomplish the feat in 31 games.

What makes this more impressive for Newton is that the 26-year-old has played in just 70 games in his career. To put that into perspective, it took Steve Young 169 games to set the record that Cam is chasing.
