Anderson Silva has yet to fight again in the UFC after a suspension was handed to him for banned substances at UFC 183 against Nick Diaz back in January, but it seems that some of his plans are already being teased.

While out of the UFC picture, The Spider has been hinting on possibly taking on Michael Bisping next year. And now there are feelers being sent and whether his next opponent is indeed Bisping or not, Silva is leaning on holding his return fight right on his own backyard – Brazil.

Word about that possible scenario comes no less from UFC Brazil’s general manager Giovani Decker, who spoke at the post-event press conference of UFC Fight Night 77.

“There’s nothing set,” Decker told the media. “I think it’s another wish of Anderson’s to fight in Brazil; I think every fighter has that wish.”

Though the thrown question at Decker seems to be a bit off since the night of course belonged to Vitor Belfort who knocked out Dan Henderson in the first round, he believes that Silva wanting to fight right on his own turf should not come as a surprise.

He believes that fighters have more desire to compete in their own country than before, though it remains to be seen if Silva is indeed leaning on such a scenario.

Should Silva indeed return and fight in Brazil, it would be the first time since 2012 that he would fight in front of his hometown crowd. His last fight was back in 2012 where he faced Stephan Bonnar and won via TKO in the main card.

All belief on this may become clearer once Silva’s suspension is lifted by Jan. 31, 2016.

For now, there is no word yet from the UFC with regards to its plans for The Spider.

UFC 197 will be held in Rio on March 2016 though it remains to be seen if The Spider will be in one of the cards.
