The wrestling world was shaken to its core Thursday when it was announced that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins suffered a serious leg injury and will be sidelined for 6-9 months.
"The Architect's" bout with Roman Reigns for the richest prize in the game was obviously compromised due to the injury, which occurred when Rollins battled Kane at a live event in Dublin, Ireland. The complexion of the Survivor Series was completely altered with the WWE announcing a tournament to crown a new champion, but details remain sketchy.
Candidates For The Next WWE World Heavyweight Champion
After news of Rollins' injury broke, countless Superstars and legends commented on how sorry they felt for The Authority's golden boy, while also giving him some advice for the long road to recovery. Rusev, however, took a different root, firing off a cryptic tweet that either mocked Rollins or played into the storylines, depending on what side of wrestling's gray area you believe in.
People fight hard people get hurt. It's LIFE

Here are some possible motives for the "Bulgarian Brute's" odd tweet.
The Undertaker's Silver Anniversary Could Come With Some Gold
1) Jealousy
October was an interesting month for Rusev. On one hand, he got engaged to smokin' hot WWE Diva Lana. Then, mere weeks later, he separated his bicep on an episode of Main Event, causing him to be sidelined for a 3-4 weeks. When Rusev went down, he didn't garner anywhere near the attention Rollins' injury did, which could have drew the ire of the "Super Athlete" and caused him to fire up a bitter sounding tweet.
2) Storyline
Rusev has a decent shot at returning for the Survivor Series tournament, and he could be staying in character like most Superstars do on social media. Perhaps a feud between Rusev and Rollins looms in the future, or quite possibly, he just stuck to his character of being a ruthless curmudgeon with no sympathy for anyone.
3) Self Reflection
As mentioned, Rusev is dealing with a shoulder injury. Maybe his tweet had to do with his own injury and not Rollins, though the timing is curious. This appears unlikely, however, due to the "Bulgarian Brute" suffering his injury over a week before Rollins.
4) Trolling
Rusev could simply just be trolling everyone, Rollins included. Ribbing is a big part of the backstage antics in wrestling, and it's possible that the former United States Champion was just having a little fun while others heaped praise and sympathy on the fallen WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
5) Hacked
Rusev's account could have been hacked, which wouldn't be unprecedented. There have been several incidents of WWE Superstars having their social media accounts compromised, including Rollins himself and Chris Jericho. This could have happened to Rusev, but the tweet wasn't over-the-top malicious and remains on his feed, so this also is just a shot in the dark.
