Gerald Green is reportedly doing better after that bizarre outburst which caused a commotion at the lobby of his condo in Miami and the team is pretty much relieved to hear the good news.

Mario Chalmers was the reported teammate there to provide assistance and was the first one called up to provide assistance to Green who was reported to have been screaming at the top of his lungs.

"I was just trying to be there for him and trying to figure out what was going on," Chalmers said, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, before the Heat's win Thursday night over the Timberwolves.

Chalmers rode with Green on the ambulance but downplayed claims that Green was in agitated state. He did however confirm that Green was better and back to good health.

"Yeah I talked to him this morning," Chalmers said. "He's good, back in good health."

Chalmers update on Green was echoed by the rest of the Miami Heat, including head coach Erik Spoelstra.

"We're grateful that he's safe and he's healthy right now. And our thoughts are with him and his family," he said.

There is no timetable yet on when Green may be able to return to the Heat lineup as of this writing. Green signed a one-year pact on a veteran-minimum deal and was seen as a key player off the bench. He was one of the team’s leading scorers in the preseason which the Heat hopes would be carried on to the regular schedule.
