LeBron James is used to getting what he wants, which means the NBA could move to end their new trend of short-sleeved jerseys.

In the midst of a poor shooting night at home vs. the Knicks, James took out his anger on his jersey, ripping it like The Incredible Hulk. James had previously said the sleeves make it uncomfortable for him to shoot, and his thoughts on the sleeved jerseys are now crystal clear.

LeBron James Won't Play Enough Minutes to Win MVP

"I was just frustrated with myself, I was just off rhythm a lot tonight, and the jersey was the only thing I could go to," James said. "I couldn't do nothing to my face."

Afterward, maybe anticipating some kind of discipline from the league, James praised the jerseys.

LeBron's Bad Back Keeps Him Out Of Practice

"I don't know, it might be mental, man," James said. "It's OK. The jerseys are nice. We love the jerseys. The black looks great. It's been awhile since this franchise has worn black. So it's great to be out there and wear those uniforms. I was in my own way. I was frustrated with my shot, I couldn't make a bucket, so like I said, I had to take it out on something."

According to ESPN, a team must wear new jerseys three to six times during a season once they’re added to the rotation, so James will have to get used to them for this year. Pressed further about them, he said if the fans like them, he’ll put them on.

"I mean, if the fans love them, I love them," James said. "That's what it's all about. I think our fans here in Cleveland and around the world and around the league love the uniforms. I'll wear them for 48 minutes in a ballgame.”

But make no mistake, “King” James prefers his jerseys sleeveless.
