The Holiday season is still quite a few weeks away but the NBA is preparing with time to spare as they released their Christmas Day jerseys.

This year the NBA really nailed the Christmas feel. The jerseys have a classic cursive writing style of the team nicknames. Each uniform features one solid color, with a really bold shade. They also feature some awesome socks, according to SB Nation.

Reigning MVP Has Historic Season Opener

In years of Christmas past the jerseys have been hit or miss. One year they wore the less than popular sleeved jerseys, a look that flopped worse than James Harden. Other years team's have gone real hard on the Christmas spirit such as when the Knicks wore their green jerseys in a game against the red colored Bulls.

Christmas in the NBA will be more than just about the fashion however, as the games on deck are incredibly exciting match-ups. The game of the day will easily be the NBA Finals rematch between the Cavaliers and the Warriors, though there may be some excitement around the late night Clippers/Lakers game. Also, the Anthony Davis and the Pelicans visit Miami, Oklahoma City welcomes Chicago and San Antonio plays in Houston.

Regardless of who you root for, it would be definitely be exciting to awake on Christmas morning to one of these jerseys under the tree. And even if you don't get one, at least there's the gift of a full day of great basketball.
