The Texans don't have much to be proud of in 2015. Outside of J.J. Watt, the season's had few highlights. Sunday's 44-26 loss to the Dolphins was the embarrassing punctuation to a 2-5 start.

Watt Takes His Batman Role Too Seriously

Even with the Colts' struggles -- Indianapolis enters Week 8 with a one-game lead in the AFC South -- the playoffs will likely escape the Texans yet again in 2015. The positions of need -- particularly on the offensive side of the ball -- are glaring.

A massive push via the draft will be necessary to return to 2012's success, but those draft picks must be acquired.

Watt's Diet Will Make You Question Humanity

And the only way to acquire them is by trading Watt.

As outlandish as trading your franchise player is, Watt's value on the market couldn't be higher and his value to the Texans couldn't be lower.

For all his greatness, there was little he could do to prevent the Dolphins from taking a 41-0 halftime lead on Sunday. Even worse, the Texans are a paltry 13-26 in his last three seasons. Undoubtedly, Watt's talent would transform any playoff contender into a Super Bowl favorite.

The Texans are just far from being a playoff contender.

There is a dancing partner in this risible scenario. The Packers -- who reside in the same state Watt attended college -- have three first-round picks pending in 2016, as ESPN points out. Coupled with a high pick of their own, there are enough bargaining chips to find an impact player on the right side of the ball.

If not, the Texans can maintain the status quo. Watt surely enjoys watching his talents be wasted on an irrelevant team.
