Up-and-coming Paige VanZant is scheduled to star in her first UFC headliner, though there have been last minute changes.

Original opponent Joanne Calderwood was pulled out due to an undisclosed injury and now the rising UFC featherweight will go up against an unpredictable Rose Namajunas, who is coming off a big win at UFC 192 over Angela Hill.

Ronda Rousey Hints Definite WWE Plans

Despite only three fights in her UFC career, VanZant remains unscathed. Her last win was during UFC 191, when she forced Alex Chambers to submit in the third round.

The thing about VanZant is that she can do damage both ways. She has a great striking ability and can also grapple and force her opponents with submission moves. Either way, VanZant is heading into UFC Fight Night 80 as a favorite, though Namajunas is her highest ranked opponent to date.

Another win for the ravishing VanZant could likely line her up among the contenders in the UFC Women’s Strawweight division.

UFC Fight Night 80 happens Dec. 10 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The event will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass for UFC fans who want to catch it online.
