At least one Eagles fan has seen enough of Sam Bradford and wants to see more of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, perhaps in a green and silver uniform, rather than red and gold.

And it's a pretty prominent Eagles fan, according to 247 Sports Philadelphia.

Chip Kelly Throws Assistant Coach Duce Staley Under Bus For RB Woes

Former Pennsylvania Governor and Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell said he would like to see Philadelphia coach Chip Kelly seek one of his blockbuster moves to send Bradford on his merry way and bring in the embattled San Francisco QB.

"One thing is clear: Sam Bradford is not, in my judgment, the quarterback of the future for the Eagles," Rendell told 247 Sports. "What I would like to see us get at the end of the year, I'm told that San Francisco is going to be looking to trade Kaepernick and I think in Chip Kelly's system, Kaepernick could be the perfect quarterback because he can run."

Bradford, who looked like he would compete with Tom Brady for NFL Offensive Player of the Year honors during the preseason, has thrown for 1,766 yards (252.3 yards per game), completing 62 percent of his passes. He has nine touchdown passes and 10 interceptions.

In fairness to Bradford, some of the Eagles offensive woes -- Philadelphia averages 22.9 points per game (17th in the league) -- fall squarely on the shoulders, or hands, of his receivers.

According to NJ Advanced Media, Eagles receivers have dropped 27 passes this season. Pro Football Focus says the number is 26. Even taking the lower number, if the Philadelphia wideouts caught all those passes, Bradford's completion percentage would be 71.5 percent, and who knows how much more scoring that would've brought to the Eagles?

But currently, it does appear that both quarterbacks need a fresh start somewhere else to get their careers on track. The problem for Bradford is that this year was supposed to be that fresh start that ignited his career.
