According to the official NBA website, the 30-year-old forward James still not doing full-blown practice due to his recent back injection. However,e James did some 'light work' on the court on Thursday with fellow Cavs gearing up for an opener on Tuesday in Chicago. The site added that the restriction in James' practice was due to his anti-inflammatory shot at the back, which was the same to the previous one he had during the early part of last season when he was slowed by his knee and back issues.

"We're being very conscientious and cautious with him in terms of his feeling," coach David Blatt said. "He's fine and he's going to be fine. We're just going slowly and carefully with him. He'll be out there very soon."

According to NBC Sports, James had not given his comments to the media after his workout at Cleveland Clinic Courts. Nonetheless, the Cavs forward had thrown around some footballs with some of his teammates on a field external to the facility, prior to going home.

James had gone to the court in two of Cavs' seven exhibition games, while missing the final three match-ups following the injection. The forward was also reported to get another shot in his back if necessary.

While James is currently on break with the practice games, the Cavs stay assured that the small forward would be ready to hit the court in the next NBA season. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are set to face the Bulls at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on Oct. 28.
