Kell Brook has not forgotten about Diego Chaves and if he had the choice, the Briton wants to get in the ring and prove that he is the best in the sport.

Brook was forced to cancel his fight with Argentine boxer Chaves last week after incurring a rib injury during training. It is Brook’s third title defense.

As of this writing, there is no word yet on when the rescheduled fight would take place. But if Brook is to be asked, he wants to recover quickly so he and Chaves can slug it out.

With Brook sidelined, someone from his past has come up to criticize the way he has been picking his opponents. This was no other than Brandon Rios who Brook was originally scheduled to face had talks not bogged down back in July.

Rios pointed out that Brook made a lot of crazy demands and was one of the main reasons why the fight failed to materialize. Could a fight be possible in the future?

Well it depends.

One is that Brook has to settle his current feud with Chaves, whenever that may be.

Second is that Brandon Rios has to take care of his own business as well. He is scheduled to face Timothy Bradley Jr. this Nov. 7 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas and at stake is the WBO welterweight title.

A win by both Brook and Rios could open up talks once more for a possible 2016 clash.
