Ronda Rousey has done perhaps more than enough to place her among the all-time greats but just the same, she reiterates her wish to be among the greatest fighters of all time.

Rousey is currently undefeated and is set to face Holly Holm at UFC 193 which will happen at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. And just like before, the reigning UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion is entering the match a heavy favorite.

Rousey said through an interview with Self Magazine that she wants her name mentioned in the company of boxing legends Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. Further to that, she doesn’t want the word ‘woman’ placed before champion.

Regardless, it doesn’t look like she needs to remind anyone that she is among the greatest fighters of all time. She has proven that and her current success in the octagon is more than enough to cement that claim.

Rousey did mention plans of retiring by the age of 30 which is about two-years from now. Seeing her busy schedule, it could happen. But before that, there is something UFC fans want to see, and this is a fight between her and Cristian ‘Cyborg’ Justino.

That fight is of course still on the shelf since Cyborg needs to satisfy a lot of conditions before the UFC approves the megafight.

But regardless of whether that materializes or not, Rousey needs not stress that she is the greatest at this point. Her quick finishes are more than enough to make her one of the best and dangerous fighters in the UFC today and a fight with Justino is perhaps the icing on the cake.

"My mantra: No one has the right to beat me," Rousey said. "Fighters are born, champions are made."
