There are certain scandals you shouldn't be able to survive...a sex scandal involving strippers and recruited players is one of them.

That's the reality facing Louisville head coach Rick Pitino after five former basketball players and recruits told Outside the Lines they attended wild parties at a campus dorm from 2010 to 2014. There's no telling how long Pitino will be able to survive the external pressure.

Rick Pitino Knew About On-Campus Sex Parties

Here are three possible replacements should he justifiably be fired.

Richard Pitino, Minnesota

Like father, like son? At least on the court, you'd hope that to be the case.

Richard Pitino -- a former assistant under his father at Louisville -- has been a head coach at Minnesota for just two seasons. He won 25 games and the NIT championship in his first year in charge of the Gophers.

His upward trajectory makes him a viable candidate.

Shaka Smart, VCU

Admittedly, Shaka Smart just recently agreed to be the new head coach of the Texas Longhorns, but it wouldn't be the first time a college coach abandoned his program prematurely.

Despite limited resources, Smart qualified for the NCAA tournament in each of the last five seasons.

Chris Mack, Xavier

A less-heralded name, Chris Mack has won 66 percent of his games at Xavier and has four NCAA tournament berths.

Since taking over as head coach in 2009, Mack has led Xavier to five 21-plus win seasons in six years.
