--Cueto (1-0, 3.86 in 2015 playoffs) finally had a big postseason start, getting the win in ALDS Game 5 against the Astros and retiring 19 straight batters to close it out. Stroman (0-0, 3.46 ERA) hasn't faced the Royals since 2014, but he has nine strikeouts in 13 innings this postseason.

--The Blue Jays went down 2-0 against the Rangers in the ALDS, but roared back to win the series in five games, including the decisive match at home. Despite scoring an MLB-best 450 runs at home in the regular season, Toronto did lose two of three games to Texas at Rogers Centre. A club known for the long ball, the Blue Jays have yet to go deep in this series.
