Washington's savior isn't RGIII, it's Kevin Durant.

The NBA all-star joined Matthew Berry's Fantasy Focus podcast on Thursday to talk -- along with his undefeated fantasy team -- the prospects of owning an NFL franchise.

Why The Texans Should Trade For RGIII

"It's a passion of mine," Durant said, per NewsOK. "I'd definitely love to own a team -- hopefully one of these years towards the end of my career -- so I follow it [football] a lot.

"My first priority would be the Washington Redskins, even if it was just a small percentage. I just want to get involved. Growing up five minutes away from the stadium and always being a fan, I have a Redskins tattoo on my forearm. So I feel part of the team so much, so to be an owner and all the way entrenched with the team would be cool."

Kirk Cousins Can't Complete A Pass, But Wants Your Money

Forget a percentage. Give him the whole team.

He can't do a worse job than Daniel Snyder.

First, Durant can start by changing the team name. Surely, the "Washington Durants" rolls of the tongue better than a racial epithet.

Second, he could follow that up by doing something Snyder never had the cojones to do: cutting RGIII and starting fresh under center.

Even if Durant didn't, even if he went as far as signing Tim Tebow, naming Lane Kiffin his head coach and transformed into a player-owner, he'd still do a better job than Snyder could ever dream of.

Start saving your money, Kevin. Washington is need of a true savior.
