Cowboys fans might be in luck after their bye week. While they are contemplating a ton of changes, including at quarterback, running back, and guard, one change may be coming that is a restoration of their natural order. Wide receiver Dez Bryant might be suiting up.

The Cowboys have made a quarterback change, going from Brandon Weeden to Matt Cassel, who was signed two weeks ago, while Tony Romo’s collarbone is on the mend. Weeden was 0-3 in his three starts, but he also didn’t have Bryant at his disposal. A photo snapped by ESPN reporter Todd Archer, hints that Cassel might be enjoying his presence.

Bryant suffered a Jones fracture in his foot in Week 1, and timetables ranging from four to 12 weeks emerged. Some suggested he might miss the whole season. Even Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been whipping fans into a frenzy about Bryant’s expected return date.

The photo Archer tweeted should be taken with a grain of salt. It doesn’t show Bryant doing any receiving drills or even running. He’s simply outside, in pads. But that sight alone is one for sore eyes, as Terrance Williams keeps proving he’s no No. 1 receiver, and Cole Beasley keeps failing to resemble Wes Welker.
