Former NBA All-Star Lamar Odom is in a hospital after being found unconscious on the floor of a Nevada brothel, where he reportedly spent several days “trying to get away from people so he could have some time to himself without the pressures of being who he is.”

That’s what Dennis Hof, the owner of the Love Ranch South brothel, told Us Magazine. Hof also owns the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, which has been featured on HBO’s Cathouse. Odom has a history of drug abuse, which led to his separation and eventual divorce from his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian, but Hof said he did not see any evidence of drug use. The only substance he said he knew Odom was using was “herbal Viagra.”

Lamar Odom Taken To Hospital In Critical Condition

The initial reports were that Odom was unresponsive and near death when he was taken to a nearby hospital. Because of his 6’10" frame, he was not airlifted. Odom’s publicist, Eve Sarkisyan, said much of the info flowing to the media is untrue.

“Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar," she said in a statement. "Please don't listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family's privacy during this difficult time.”

Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West and Kris Jenner, are all reportedly with Odom during this time. Odom hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2012-13 season, but was a solid player during his 14-year career. Odom averaged 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists and was known as one of the most versatile players in the NBA. He won two titles with the Lakers, and took home the 2010-11 Sixth Man of the Year award.
