Don’t be the guy who has those last 10 points sitting on the bench because you took a gamble on a questionable player in Week 5. There are safer options to consider, and your fantasy team deserves better than that.
Below are three players with a questionable designation you should avoid on Sunday.
With Marshawn Lynch Out, Your Fantasy Team Can Start Panicking
Fred Jackson, RB, Seahawks (Ankle)
Marshawn Lynch is dealing with some tissue damage in his hamstring, forcing him to miss a second consecutive game. Just don’t expect Fred Jackson to get a bulk of his carriers. That role will likely belong to Thomas Rawls.
Jackson -- who was upgraded to limited Friday -- will be see minutes as a pass protector, not a ball carrier.
No surprise but expect Seahawks to promote rookie RB Rod Smith (Ohio St) from practice squad to 53-man roster. Fred Jackson hopes to play.

Steve Smith, WR, Ravens (Back)
Steve Smith doesn’t need surgery, but he also doesn’t need to start on your fantasy team. Even if the Browns are on the opposite end of the field.
Ravens put out a statement saying Steve Smith does not need surgery. Is week-to-week with a back injury

Sammy Watkins, WR, Bills (Calf)
The Bills face the Titans in Week 5, and boast a respectable 2-2 record. This is hardly the kind of emergency that would force Sammy Watkins into the lineup.
"I don't know whether I'm going to play or not," Watkins said, per Rotoworld. "But if it's an emergency, if I need to play, I think I'll play."
Even if he does, he doesn’t need to play for your fantasy team. Watkins has just 99 receiving yards in three games this season.
