Baylor and TCU are still seven weeks away from a Big 12 showdown that will surely determine the conference. The student body just doesn’t have the patience to wait.
Kirk Cousins Wants $59 For A Picture
A prank war ensued between the two universities. TCU landed the first blow, vandalising an RGIII statue on campus. Baylor landed the decisive blow, tagging 61-58 on TCU property.
The score was obviously an homage to Baylor’s improbable 61-58 victory over TCU in 2014. It was the one result that kept the Horned Frogs from participating in the college football playoff.

College pranks aside, the real question is: who was dumb enough to give RGIII a statue?
Admittedly, the former No.2-overall pick is the only Heisman Trophy winner in Baylor history. He left Waco, Texas with the most passing yards (10,366), TDs (78), efficiency rating (158.9) and completion percentage (67.1).
But he also left with a 23-18 record.
If that’s the standard to build a statue, there has to be another one in the making in the NFL. Washington is closer to building one for Kirk Cousins than Griffin at this point, opening the door for a potential trade.
The Texans should be the one making the call.
Ryan Mallett and Brian Hoyer aren’t long-term answers in Houston. They’re not even short-term answers.
At 1-4, the Texans would welcome a 23-18 record under center. They should welcome Griffin with open arms.
