The Bills are in dire straits at running back this week, with LeSean McCoy sitting out practice to nurse a strained hamstring, and Karlos Williams struggling to make it through the NFL’s concussion protocol. Bills coach Rex Ryan said Anthony “Boobie” Dixon will start if McCoy and Williams can’t make it, but fantasy owners have more options than that.

If you were relying on either of the Bills’ top two rushers, here are some widely-available backs on the waiver wire that can get you through the week. All ownership percentages are courtesy of Yahoo.

Trent Richardson Works Out For The Bills, Ray Rice Waits For A Call

Duke Johnson Jr., Browns (47% Owned)

Duke Johnson is nearing the 50 percent mark, so unless it’s a shallow league, chances are you’ll need to swing a trade. That said, if he’s on the waiver wire go get him. Johnson’s value would skyrocket if Isaiah Crowell were forced to miss time, but even with Crowell in the lineup Johnson will see work.

Johnson is an obvious weapon in the passing game, getting targeted 10 times by Josh McCown. In total, Johnson saw 17 touches, scored a long touchdown, and compiled 116 yards from scrimmage.

Week 5 Waiver Options At Every Position

Khiry Robinson, Saints (4% Owned)

Robinson has scored touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, and gets a small share of work in the Saints’ crowded backfield despite Mark Ingram and C.J. Spiller both being healthy. If you’re up against it with these Bills players, Robinson is a lock to get around eight touches per game. He has big-play potential, so one of those might wind up being a difference maker.

Bishop Sankey, Titans (37% Owned)

Sankey’s risky because it looks like he’s been passed by Antonio Andrews on the depth chart, but the guy’s a fantasy cockroach. He can not be destroyed. Andrews may get more work than Sankey this week, but if you play Andrews, count on Sankey vulturing a touchdown from him. When things look darkest for Sankey, he rises up and does just enough to stay relevant. If you were dependent on Williams, chances are you’ll sign up for relevant.
