Jurgen Klopp has agreed to a three-year deal that will see him become Liverpool’s next manager, per BBC. The former Borussia Dortmund boss replaces Brendan Rodgers, who was sacked following Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Everton.

Only six points separate Manchester City and Liverpool entering Matchday 9. A full 30 matches remain in the season, which is sufficient time for Klopp to turn around a potent 18 that features the likes of Christian Benteke, Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge.

In three of his last four seasons at Dortmund, Klopp’s heavy-metal approach on the pitch allowed the club to obtain 80 goals or more. Those same tenacious tactics will allow Liverpool to rectify their scoring drought to start the campaign (1.00 goals per game).

Adding to the club’s ability to win its first-ever Premier League title is the unpredictability surrounding England’s top flight.

Southampton can beat Chelsea, West Ham can beat Manchester City and Swansea City can beat Manchester United.

There are no clear-cut favorites in the Premier League, only average competition.

With Klopp now in charge -- and no need for January transfers -- Liverpool have everything in place to be the best of them.
