Tom Brady, like Ryan Tannehill, has been known to react to practice squad players when they make plays that disrupt his practices.

Unlike Tannehill who criticizes those players, Brady rewards them, a former teammate tweeted as reported by Larry Brown Sports.

Former Patriots wideout Donte Stallworth issued a series of tweets, saying that Brady paid practice squad players for intercepting him during New England's practice.

Stallworth played for the Patriots during the 2007 season when they won their first 18 games before losing to the Giants in the Super Bowl.

The National Football Post reported last weekend that Tannehill became agitated when the Dolphins practice squad dared to intercept his passes, telling them, "Enjoy your practice squad check; enjoy your practice squad trophy."

Now former coach Joe Philbin had asked the practice squad "to take it easy on Tannehill to not affect the young quarterback's confidence," the National Football Post added.

Tannehill actually was intercepted twice during the practice in question, Fox Sports reported.

"A source told Fox Sports that Tannehill became angry after a practice squad player intercepted one of his passes. The situation escalated when a practice squad defender zipped in front of another Tannehill pass for a second interception."

Larry Brown Sports noted the difference -- not only between Tannehill and Brady, but also New England and Miami -- in the two parables.

"No one should ever compare Brady to Tannehill, but the fact that the Dolphins have their quarterback supposedly acting like that and their highest-paid player making childish protests shows you the type of trouble the organization is currently in," Larry Brown Sports said.
