Ronaldinho has had better days.

The former Barcelona star was released by Fluminense on Monday. The Brazilian giants -- with just 37 points -- are teetering in 12th place entering Week 29. Ronaldinho, 35, played just two months and nine matches with the club.

His brother, Roberto Assis, insists retirement is not on the horizon.

“Are you crazy? No chance [he’ll retire],” Assis told the Brazilian press, per ESPN FC. “You'll have more surprises yet.

"He has to be happy on the field and feel good about himself. He has an advantage over many others in that he has never suffered from a serious injury. There are a lot of coming up."

One proposal must have been earth-shattering good...because that’s the only way to explain what transpired on Friday.

In true Dinho fashion, the iconic footballer took a selfie with a crazed fan immediately after.

Even past his prime, this is the attention Ronaldinho still commands. The football pitch isn’t the same without him. Fingers crossed one of the aforementioned proposals come to fruition sooner rather than later.
