David Feherty did the impossible over the summer: he spent a day with Nick Saban at his Georgia lake house. The Golf Channel host filmed a segment for his show “Feherty,” which airs tonight at 8 p.m. CT.

Alabama Wins 34-0, Twitter Still Wants To Talk About Saban's Daughter

In it, Saban talks about singing Karaoke, how he wants to be remembered and perhaps more importantly, his offensive coordinator, Lane Kiffin.

"Lane does a great job for what we want him to do,” Saban said, per Al.com. “He's a great play-caller, he's a really good teacher, he has great relationships with the players. He does a great job utilizing the personnel that you have, doesn't ask players to do what they can't do and certainly features the guys that can do certain things well.

“I think he's a great offensive coordinator. I don't know what his issues were as a head coach, but that wasn't what we hired him for.”

It didn’t take Saban long to learn what those issues were.

Rumors surfaced recently linking Kiffin with Saban’s daughter. The two were allegedly involved in a sexual affair. The same rumors linked Kiffin with the wife of an Alabama booster. The fact that neither could be differentiated leads you to question the validity of the claims, but social media was responsive nonetheless.

The rumors have since died down, and not a moment too soon. Alabama travels to Georgia on Saturday to face the Bulldogs in an all-important SEC showdown.
