The NFL’s Week 3 slate of games might be tough to decipher, but Sports World News has you covered. Lean on these three bets and make a few bucks on Sunday.

RAMS (+1.5) over Steelers

After the Steelers annihilated the 49ers, who looked good in Week 1, bettors have jumped on the Steelers at -1.5 on the road at an 89 percent clip per Pregame.com. That is a classic overreaction to a single game. Pittsburgh was coming off a brutal loss on Thursday night, and had extra time to re-tool vs. a 49ers squad that entered the year as a team no one wanted to bet.

How Fantasy Owners Should Treat The Rams Backfield

The Steelers also got the Niners at home. This week, they’re on the road against St. Louis, and the matchup isn’t favorable. They’re still missing Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey, and that’s not good against possibly the best defensive line in the NFL.

Plus, Todd Gurley is expected to play and the Steelers’ defense can resemble Swiss cheese at times. After the Rams lost to the Redskins, nobody wants to bet them. That’s why the smart people will hop right on the Gurley train.

TITANS (+3) over Colts

The prevailing wisdom would be to bet on Andrew Luck to torch the Titans, but something seems rotten inside the Indianapolis infrastructure. Their 0-2 start is more than some bad passes from Andrew Luck, and a Frank Gore fumble.

Chuck Pagano Blasts Andrew Luck, GM After Jets Loss

There’s simmering discontent emanating from head coach Chuck Pagano, who threw Luck under the bus after a rough game vs. the Jets, and fired off a salvo at GM Ryan Grigson about the Colts’ offensive line. Instability at the top can poison an organization.

On the field, the Colts seem ill-equipped to bother Marcus Mariota. Through two games he has been poised, and even when things aren’t going his way, Mariota’s avoided the typical turnovers that plague young quarterbacks. The spread opened at Tennessee -5.5, and it has been bet down to -3, despite 70 percent of action coming in on the Colts.

Some of the value has dissipated, but the Titans have a legitimate chance to win outright.

VIKINGS (-2.5) over Chargers

There still seems to be overreaction to the Vikings’ atrocious Monday night opening loss to the 49ers. Last week the Vikings opened as 2.5-point favorites at home, even though the Lions had blown a big lead in their opener. After impressively downing Detroit, they are once again less than three-point favorites at home.

Adrian Peterson looked like his old self – except for the two fumbles – and Teddy Bridgewater’s accuracy was re-calibrated to an NFL level. The reason Vegas oddsmakers are down on the Vikings is not readily apparent to me, so plop some dollars down on the Purple People Eaters.
