Sting spoke publicly for the first time since sustaining a neck injury at Night of Champions against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and said he'd get back into the ring in the "right scenario."

"The Vigilante" suffered the ailment in just his second major WWE Network special and pay-per-view match when "The Architect" delivered his patented Buckle Bomb to him, causing his legs to give out. Trainers and doctors checked on him and he was taken to the hospital following the bout.

Mere days later, Sting said he's "a little banged up," but added he "feels good." The wrestling icon spoke to WWE.com about how he felt immediately after getting hurt.

"Bottom line, I had tingling, numbness down both arms, all the way to my fingertips," Sting told the site the initial incident in the ring. "And then, later in the match, I just fell wrong, whatever it was, and this time [the tingling and numbness] went down both arms and into my legs, and I couldn't feel my legs too well.

"They just felt like rubber. I don't know how to describe it. I had to go down on all fours there for a minute, get my composure. I was a little ... I was worried. Long term, well, I'm just going to take care of the short term first and see how the long term might play out."

Sting also addressed rumors that the injury would end his career, saying he would step back into the squared circle if the right situation emerged.

"Hmmm, in the right scenario ... in the right scenario, yeah," he said.

Sting has wrestled just four matches with the WWE, but is winless at major events after falling to Rollins on Sunday and Triple H in March at WrestleMania 31. There have been a lot of rumors that he would face The Undertaker down the line, but it's uncertain if that will ever come to fruition.

The former WCW and TNA World Heavyweight Champion confirmed that the injury occurred when he hit the turnbuckle, but he also harbors no ill-will toward Rollins. Sting said he was "honored" to feud with "The Undisputed Future" and added "it was a pleasure."

Sting also said he appreciates the fans now more than ever, but he isn't sure what the future holds.

"I hate it when I'm asked that question because the answer truly is a question mark," Sting said about his in-ring future, "and the question mark is as bold as it could ever be at this point."
