The brother of TNA wrestler and former WWE Superstar and Olympian Kurt Angle was charged in the murder of a Pittsburgh woman.

Allegheny County homicide detectives have charged David Angle, 62, for the murder of his wife Donna Angle, 57, which stemmed from the two arguing over vodka, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Per the article, the suspect told police that his wife was trying to persuade him into drinking with her when the incident started.

The two began to argue with each other and it escalated when Donna attempted to kick David and he dragged her off the couch. David then stepped on his wife's chest and began to pull her arms, leading to her going unconscious. David told police he tried to revive the woman and someone called 911 after the incident, which took place at 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

"He said all of their arguments revolved around alcohol and added that he has 'anger issues,'" county homicide Detective Scott Towne wrote in a criminal complaint per the New York Post.

David is in Allegheny County Jail without bond on one count of criminal homicide.

David is one of Kurt's four older brothers, a group that includes Eric Angle, who is also a wrestler and appeared in the WWE in 2003 during a storyline with Brock Lesnar.

Kurt, who is very active on social media, has been quiet on Twitter since the news broke. His last tweet was authored on Friday, when he thanked fans of his home city of Pittsburgh for their support of him during TNA's stop there on the Bound For Glory tour.

"Thank you Pittsburgh for the warm welcome of your #HometownOlympicHero," Angle wrote. "Much Love! #TNABFGTour."
