If Chip Kelly's offseason moves were controversial at the time, they're downright scandalous right about now.

The Eagles head coach, who led his team to back-to-back 10-win seasons his first two years at the helm, suddenly finds himself on the hot seat after Philadelphia's 20-10 loss to the Cowboys dropped the franchise to 0-2.

"After two games of Kelly's third season -- following an off-season during which he took control of personnel decisions and repeatedly made bold (and bewildering) moves -- it appears they were wrong," USA Today Sports' For the Win reported.

That wasn't the harshest criticism reserved for Kelly.

"The Eagles have lost five of their last six regular-season games, and this trend can no longer be dismissed as just a slump, a difficult but predictable adjustment to change," Philly.com stated. "This debacle, all of it, is on Chip Kelly, and starting now, we'll find out whether he's something more than a great salesman."

It was Kelly, after all, that shook up the Eagles roster, starting with allowing the departure of wide receiver DeSean Jackson. That was just the tip of the iceberg, however.

Kelly traded quarterback Nick Foles for oft-injured Rams starter Sam Bradford. He let running back LeSean McCoy leave for Buffalo and signed the Cowboys' DeMarco Murray and the Chargers' Ryan Mathews.

The coach allowed wide receiver Jeremy Maclin to sign with the Chiefs. He let veteran guard Evan Mathis depart for Denver.

Murray, who led the league with 1,845 rushing yards in 2014 with Dallas, has 21 carries for 11 yards in two games with the Eagles and is on pace to rush for 88 yards in 2015. Bradford has thrown two touchdown passes and four interceptions in Philadelphia's high-flying attack.

After his receivers dropped numerous passes in the first half against the Cowboys, Bradford missed wide open receivers in the second half and had a horrible interception in the end zone.

The Cowboys committed 18 penalties and lost quarterback Tony Romo early in the second half to a broken clavicle bone. And still, the Eagles never really challenged.

"Kelly said that everyone involved with the offense will be evaluated, including the team's coaches and quarterback Sam Bradford, who Kelly said he didn't consider benching on Sunday," Pro Football Talk reported.

But it's Kelly who could be under the most intense microscope.
