What They're Saying

Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn on Tiger Stadium, per Al.com: "Tough to place to play. They play extremely well at home. Been a while since we've won there at home. We need to protect the football. When you turn the football over, it makes it difficult. Defensively, we just have to get off the field on third down. We have to play well to win and our guys know that."

LSU head coach Les Miles on his assessment of Auburn against Jacksonville State, per Al.com: "The Auburn team's very talented. Jacksonville State is a good football team. They've historically had a lot of transfers in from other schools that are really, really good players, and they have a very quality team. Watched them on film. The coach at Auburn does a great job, Gus Malzahn is a very fine coach. I certainly respect the job that he does there."

Performance To Examine

Jeremy Johnson isn't the dual-threat Cam Newton and Nick Marshall were, and it shows. The junior has struggled in each of his first two games, leading the conference in INTs (five). His completion percentage has dropped to 60.4 percent -- he finished at 75.7 percent in 2014 -- and he's only averaging 7.04 yards per attempt.

Protecting the football and better accuracy will be paramount if Johnson hopes to lead Auburn to an upset.
