Everyone has an opinion these days, including entitled broadcasters who have never strapped up on a professional level.
After fumbling in the final seconds of a 31-24 loss to the Broncos Thursday night, RB Jamaal Charles took out his frustration on his helmet, maliciously slamming it against the ground. Jim Nantz -- who was calling the game and never had to take a hit from a PED-abusing LB -- decided to add insult to injury.
Peyton Manning Silences Critics
Fantastic job, Nantz.
At least Charles remembered how to be a professional following the game. Despite running for 125 yards and a TD, he shouldered the blame.
Geno Smith Doesn't Have To Worry About Losing His Starting Job
"I just don't feel good right now," he said, per the Kansas City Star. "It's one of the hardest feelings right now that I've felt in a long time.
"I think I was just trying to make a play, got uncareful with the ball and one of the defenders punched it out. I caused the loss today. I tried to put the team on my back and I ended up losing the game. That was all on me tonight."
Except it wasn't.
Charles wasn't the one who threw a brutal interception in the fourth quarter. Charles wasn't the one who decided to call a draw with 36 seconds left, when a QB kneel was the logical choice.
Where's the shade for the other parties responsible, Nantz?
