Under the bright lights of "Sunday Night Football," the Packers could be in for a world of trouble with Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks coming to town for Week 2 action.
Green Bay may feel good about its 31-23 season-opening win against Chicago at Soldier Field on Sunday, but one glaring problem that has continued to haunt the team is missed tackles. The Packers whiffed on 10 tackles that gave the Bears 85 extra yards and a touchdown in the game, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

The report takes it a step further, adding that six of the misses were on Bears running backs Matt Forte and Jacquizz Rodgers, with the additional yards adding up to 54 of the team's 189 rushing yards for the game. With Lynch, who's known for his acumen when it comes to breaking tackles, coming to Lambeau Field for a Week 2 marquee matchup, the Packers could be in trouble.
"Not good enough," defensive coordinator Dom Capers said summing up Sunday's effort. "We have to tackle better. Part of that is again the speed of the first game, it's the first regular season game. Forte is a good runner. We're going to see good runners every week."

Green Bay and Seattle will play in a rematch of last year's NFC Championship Game, which saw the Packers contain the Seahawks superstar running back until it couldn't anymore. Lynch had 80 yards on 17 carries through the first three quarters, but he then turned it up a notch. The running back compiled 77 yards on eight carries in the fourth quarter and overtime and also had a 24-yard touchdown.
The Seahawks won 28-24 to advance to the Super Bowl for the second straight year, and we all know what happened then. Lynch, who the Packers are preparing to try and stop, wasn't given the ball on what should have been a game-winning drive for Seattle.
The issues with tackling are nothing new for the Packers as the team struggled with misses during the season last year and those shortcomings followed Green Bay through the preseason this year before spilling into Week 1. The team knows it has to be better against Seattle.
"We weren't as assignment-clean as we needed to be," said head coach Mike McCarthy. "We really didn't handle the outside zone with the flat footwork that we struggled with against Philadelphia in the preseason, and it was an issue again for us [Sunday]. That's a point of emphasis because obviously we're going to see it again this week with Seattle."
Lynch was kept out of the end zone in the Seahawks' 34-31 loss to the Rams on Sunday, but he still rushed for 73 yards on 18 carries. If the Packers continue to miss tackles in Week 2, it could be a long night at Lambeau Field in a nationally televised game.
