It's gotta be the shoes. Or the hair.

Michelle Wie is practicing for this week's Evian Championship in Evian-les-Baines, France, the last major of the season on the LPGA Tour, making not one but two fashion statements.

Michelle Wie Tries Her Hand As Newest Golf Blonde

Wie has colored her hair in a rainbow-colored French braid, Golf.com reported, posting photos of the golf star.

The 25-year-old dyed her hair blonde over the summer. She later added pink highlights, Golf.com reported. And last spring, Wie sported a purple hairdo.

Terezowens.com also reported on the new basketball-style Nike golf shoes she will wear at the Evian Championship. It is a hot-pink Nike Blazer, a style originally worn by basketball star George Gervin more than 40 years ago, with a camouflage Swoosh.

Wie had a breakout season in 2014 by winning the U.S. Women's Open and ranking as high as No. 6 in the world, but a chronic hip injury has derailed her progress in 2015.

She has withdrawn or failed to make the cut in five of her last seven tournaments. In between, Wie finished 11th at the 2015 U.S. Open and tied for 41st at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

Wie currently is No. 21 in the Rolex Rankings and just No. 67 in the Race to the CME Globe standings.

Wie has finished tied for 37th and withdrawn at the last two Evian Championship events, respectively, and she does not have a top-10 finish at a major since her victory at Pinehurst last year.

Apparently, Wie is hoping that her vast color scheme will help her performance this week in France.
