Just 12 months ago, Hyo Joo Kim sank a 12-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole at the Evian Championship to win her first LPGA title. One year later, the 20-year-old sensation will look to defend her crown in the final LPGA major of the year.

Kim is the defending champion, but Inbee Park remains the favorite according to oddsmakers. In pursuit of an official career Grand Slam—the LPGA didn't make the Evian Championship an official major until 2013—the No. 1 LPGA Tour member opened at +700, per Bovada. Kim was slightly behind at +800. So Yeon Ryu and Stacy Lewis are considered value bets at +1200.
Prediction
Until proven otherwise, expect Park to achieve history on Sunday. Admittedly a safe pick, the world No. 1 has won six of the last 14 majors, including two this year. She's only the seventh woman in LPGA history to win four different majors.
