5 Possible Outcomes To Sting Vs. Rollins WWE Championship Bout

5) Return To Dudleyville

The WWE had plenty of surprises in store during SummerSlam week, but after "The Biggest Party of the Summer" came to an end, the hijinx was just beginning. The Dudley Boyz made their triumphant return on the Aug. 24 edition of Monday Night RAW, appearing on WWE television for the first time in a decade.

In an age where it's rare to be surprised with wrestling angles, the WWE managed to pull off a secret return for Bubba Ray and Devon and the duo didn't disappoint. The Dudleyz made their presence known by triumphantly putting Xavier Woods through a table and putting their stamp on a revitalized tag team division.

4) Vigilante Vengeance

The return of the Dudleyz wasn't the only big shock of the night for that editon of RAW as Sting made his return to WWE television for the first time in over five months that very same night. "The Vigilante" crashed the party of Seth Rollins as The Authority attempted to unveil a statue for him.

When the curtain that the statue was supposed to be behind dropped, Sting was standing on the platform in its place and attacked "The Architect." Now, he'll wrestle in just his second match ever in the WWE when he faces Rollins for the richest prize in the game at Night of Champions on Sept. 20 in Texas.

3) Champion Of Champions

Sticking with Rollins, the former Hounds of Justice leader put his name in the history books by becoming the first man to ever hold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and United States Champonship simultaneously.

While the decision to book Jon Stewart as a factor into the decision for publicity may have been a curious one, Rollins earned a high-profile win against John Cena at SummerSlam on Aug. 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It was a good show of faith in Rollins by the WWE and also kept Cena from tying beloved legend Ric Flair with his 16th World Championship reign.

2) The REAL Divas Revolution

The influx of Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks to the main roster may have reviatlized the Divas division, the shaky booking of the three trios has led to mixed reviews from the WWE Universe and the best moment of the summer for the ladies division actually came in NXT.

Though it didn't happen in a WWE ring, the bout between Banks and Charlotte at NXT Takeover: Brooklyh on Aug. 22 was the Match of the Year for the Divas and is a candidate for the honor of the best bout of this year overall, earning its place in this countdown.

Not only did the storyline of Bayley finally winning the big one lead to a great crowning moment for her, but the two ladies put on an unbelievable show. Hopefully the WWE can take some of this booking and storytelling to really have a Divas Revolution on the main roster.

1) RAW Is Brawl

Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker had a WrestleMania 31 rematch at SummerSlam, and while that was an epic clash in its own right, it was the road getting there that proved to be the most interesting. "The Beast" defeated "The Deadman" at WrestleMania 31 to end The Streak and it seemed like both parties moved on until The Undertaker crashed his title shot at Battleground.

The reappearance of the "Demon from Death Valley" led to Lesnar and 'Taker facing-off in a rematch that was undoubtedly better than their WrestleMania clash, despite some questionable booking on the finish.

The best moment of the feud was when Lesnar and The Undertaker had a full-scale Attitude Era-esque brawl through the arena on the July 20 edition of RAW to set up the second encounter. Adding to the fun, the entire locker room tried to break it up in true old school fashion.

It also led to the classic moment of Lesnar saying, "I'm gonna kill you," and The Undertaker retorting, "You're gonna have to."
