What They're Saying

Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst on turning a new page for the program (via Dallas News): "I think everyone's proud of what they did and how they finished [last] year, but I don't think any of that carries over to this game. I think it really boils down to it's a new team for us, it's a new Alabama team, and we both kick off our season Saturday night against each other."

Alabama head coach Nick Saban on past failures (via CBS Sports): "We haven't finished the season in the last two seasons like we'd like. People talk about you won four national championships. Well, I feel like we've had good enough teams to win eight. I feel like I failed four times."

Performance to Watch

Blake Sims took over at QB last season and set team passing records in Alabama. One season later, the most important position in all of football remains unresolved.

Saban is yet to name a starter—with Jake Coker, Cooper Bateman and Alec Morris all vying for playing time—but Coker's experience is likely to win out. The senior performed amicably when called upon in 2014, finishing 38-of-59 for 403 yards and four TDs. He'll look to solidify his place as the man under center on Saturday.
