Tebow made his case to head coach Chip Kelly on Thursday, performing well in the Eagles' final preseason game. The former first-round pick finished 11-of-17 for 189 yards and two TDs, leaving his future "in God's hands."

"I try not to be anxious at all," Tebow said after the game, per ESPN. "That's what the Bible says. 'Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.' If he said, 'Be anxious for nothing,' I'm going to try to do that."
