Robert Griffin III's time in Washington may be coming to a close soon, but that doesn't necessarily mean his time in the NFL is over.

An anonymous Redskins teammate thinks that RGIII could be a good fit on an NFC East rival and if Griffin were to face Washington, the teammate shudders to think about facing a vengeful QB, ESPN's Josina Anderson reports.

Anderson posted comments from the Redskins teammate -- an offensive starter -- on her Facebook page, the teammate believing Griffin has a lot of football left in him and the place he could make it happen.

"Philly. I think he could be really good there," the anonymous teammate said. "That is what he ran in college. That's the type of system that I'm sure he can imagine himself in ... knowing how fast-paced it is, knowing how he can run, seeing what Nick Foles did in it, what Michael Vick did in it ... I think he would definitely thrive."

Griffin suffered a concussion in a preseason game, and that opened the door for Redskins management to go with Kirk Cousins for the team's Sept. 13 season opener against the Dolphins.

The teammate told Anderson he did not know whether the team would sever ties with the embattled quarterback before the season starts.

"I don't know," the teammate said. "It would be weird and I would hate to have to prepare against a guy like that. An angry Robert Griffin? I don't know if I want to see that."

The quoted player sounded like a Griffin supporter but added his support for Kirk for the sake of the team.

"To be honest with you, I don't know how things will be different with Kirk," the teammate said. "I've played with Kirk in this offense before. We won some games. We lost some games. We lost a lot more games. It's a different style of offense to be honest with you with Kirk in there in terms of having more drop backs, more zone reads ... He's a traditional quarterback. People always say that Robert (Griffin) wasn't a pocket quarterback ... They said that about Michael Vick. They said that about Vince Young and stuff like that; basically they put (Griffin) in the athletes category. ... I just want to win games at the end of the day. I know (Kirk) can play so, I just want to help him out, and just be a good team for once and eliminate the drama."
