Robert Griffin III may now be relegated to backup duty, but he isn't garnering any sympathy from former NFL quarterback Warren Moon.
Moon was unhappy over the Redskins now-No. 2 signal caller getting himself into trouble on social media. The latest social media problem stems from Griffin "liking" an anti-Redskins post on his Instagram account.

Griffin seemingly took the easy way out, blaming a lowly intern for the snafu, but Moon believes the quarterback only has himself to blame.
"He hasn't helped his situation," Moon told TMZ. "All that social media stuff. You just can't do that. You have to focus."

It was revealed Monday that Kirk Cousins will start for the Redskins in Week 1 over Griffin. Moon, a nine-time Pro Bowler, said he is upset with Griffin for never taking the blame for any of his missteps since joining the NFL in 2013.
"He needs to take more blame and stop passing the buck ... even if it is someone else's fault," Moon said. "He's not popular with his teammates because of the way he handles things. He's the quarterback. And part of that is accepting blame when it's not your fault because you also get all the credit when sometimes you shouldn't."
There were high hopes for Griffin when he was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in 2012 and won Offensive Rookie of the Year that season. Injuries and reported dissention between him and his teammates has plagued Washington since those days, and Cousins supplanted Griffin as the Week 1 starter.
The Redskins host the Dolphins to open up the NFL season on Sept. 13. Griffin has been linked to trade rumors, but with the quarterback set to carry a cap hit of over $16 million next year and currently dealing with a concussion, it's unlikely Washington will find a trade partner.
Until he proves he can return to the gridiron and change his attitude, Moon wants nothing but silence from Griffin.
"Go dark," he said. "We don't need to hear from you right now."
