A racist (Paula Deen), a washed up pop star (Aaron Carter) and a 15-year-old that today's society allowed to become famous (Hayes Grier?)...that's the company jockey Victor Espinoza will keep on this season's "Dancing with the Stars."

Espinoza—who won the Triple Crown with American Pharoah this year—joins a laundry list of athletes who regrettably featured on the show. Below are just a few of them.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. didn't knock out his dance partner in Season 5, but he managed to finished ninth with solid scores from the judges.

Lawrence Taylor

Lawrence Taylor competed in Season 8, alongside Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and rodeo champion Ty Murray. The Hall of Fame linebacker finished a respectable seventh.

Michael Irvin

Much like Taylor, Irvin placed seventh in Season 9 of "Dancing with the Stars." The HOF WR was pleased to last seven weeks on the show.

Evander Holyfield

Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield set the standard for athletes on the inaugural season of the show. The retired boxer finished fifth. It should be of note, however, that there were only six competitors on Season 1.

Hope Solo

Hope Solo didn't knock out her dance partner in Season 13, either. The World Cup champion nearly reached the final, but was eliminated on the previous show for a fourth-placed finish.

Chad Johnson

Chad Johnson only managed to place fourth in Season 10, but at least he danced better than he could read a New England Patriots playbook.

Laila Ali

Laila Ali competed in Season 4 of the show and reached the final. She would finish behind Joey Fatone and Olympic speedster Apolo Anton Ohno.

Warren Sapp

Lance Bass, Toni Braxton and Kim Kardashian were no match for Warren Sapp in Season 7. The HOF DT finished as the runner-up.

Jason Taylor

Laying the foundation for Sapp, Jason Taylor finished second behind Kristi Yamaguchi in Season 6.

Jerry Rice

Jerry Rice won't come in second in many conversations, but the HOF WR was narrowly beaten out by Drew Lachey in Season 2.

Hines Ward

Hines Ward wasn't the first athlete to win "Dancing with the Stars," but the Super Bowl champion earned the first perfect 10s on Season 12.

Emmitt Smith

Let's face it, Emmitt Smith is just a winner. The HOF RB was the winner in Season 3, beating out Mario Lopez, Joey Lawrence and Tucker Carlson.
