Both Russell Wilson and Ciara say their celibacy has been a great challenge. But it may not be a long-lasting one.

Amid comments from Ciara blasting ex-boyfriend and rapper Future over his criticism of bringing their son around Wilson is a rumor that the pop singer and new beau from the Seahawks have applied for a marriage license, terezowens.com is reporting.

Russell Wilson Says He Can't Buy New Home Without Agent's Permission

"The waiting game continues for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Ciara. The new "it couple" claim they're abstaining from sex until marriage, which may explain why they're in a rush to wed. From an inside source, "marriage licenses have been applied for and they already have purchased a house and a yacht. Ciara already is living in Seattle, and she's not getting any younger," said our source regarding their plans to marry. "The whole no sex thing is definitely going to force their hand. Russ already has the dad role down pat."

Reports of Wilson and Ciara dating began in April, and talk of marriage after only four months likely would inflame Future and his supporters. Future and Ciara have a 1-year-old son, Future Zahir, together.

Celebrities Take Sides Over Future Feud With Ciara/Russell Wilson

Ciara said that Future was showing a double standard in his comments that she should be keeping Future Zahir away from Wilson at such an early stage in their relationship, the Daily Mail reported.

"Because, at one time when we were together, I took care of his kids, as well, at a very young time in our relationship," she said.

Ciara called her celibacy arrangement with Wilson, "awesome."

I think the cool thing is just being able to share our journey with some other people like us.

"It's a great challenge. I can definitely say that. But it's awesome because we get to really challenge ourselves, get to know each other and really build a foundation."

Which seems to go against the notion that they already have applied for a marriage license.
