Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow may not be incredibly valuable as a passer to the team, but he might have helped keep teammates from getting hurt. Tebow was instrumental in breaking up a brawl during a joint practice with the Eagles and Ravens, according to several reporters.
A little scuffle between #Eagles-Ravens third team offense and defense until Tim Tebow parts them, as @MikeTanier said, like the Red Sea.

Tebow is breaking up a bit of a scrap in the endzone. Couldn't tell who. #Eagles — Eliot Shorr-Parks (@EliotShorrParks) August 19, 2015
4th stringer fight on the far field. But @TimTebow wades in and they part like the Red Sea.

So what if he can’t throw? Tebow ran for a touchdown in the Eagles Week 1 preseason game, and now he’s showing leadership that can’t be measured on the stat sheet! And besides, he’s actually thrown the ball better than Matt Barkley anyway, per NJ.com’s Eliot Shorr-Parks.
Tebow-Barkley Battle Begins With A Fizzle
Tebow was lights-out today, completing 7-of-9 passes and tossing a touchdown pass. That brings his training camp line to 78/116, 5 TD, 1 INT, 3 rushing TD.
Barkley, Tebow’s top competition for the No. 3 QB on the team, has produced this line so far: 89/121, 8 TD, 5 INT, 1 rushing touchdown.
Riley Cooper Talks Up Tebow's Improved Passing
Realistically, if Philadelphia is down to either one of these guys in a game they’re in bad shape, but Tebow seems to actually be outplaying his competition for once.
