Running back Chris Johnson, who once ran for 2,000 yards in a season, just signed a deal with the Cardinals for one year and $2 million. He is lucky to be playing in the NFL though, so no one should feel too bad for his fall from grace.

Not only has Johnson’s production declined significantly the past two or three seasons, Johnson survived a gunshot wound this offseason that contributed to his release from the Jets. That, and his first career sub-1,000 yard season. Johnson recently shared an image of the wound he suffered when a vehicle he was travelling in was shot up.

The driver of the vehicle was killed instantly, and another passenger was also wounded. Two months before the shooting incident, Johnson was arrested for openly carrying a firearm. He was stopped by police for failing to halt at a stop sign, and the officer noticed the handle of a gun between Johnson’s feet.

Now time to start a new chapter of my life juiced up in AZ
