Cordell Broadus, son of the famed rapper Snoop Dogg, did what his father should've done after the 2011 release of "Doggumentary": He quit.
Broadus announced his decision to leave the UCLA football team on Friday. Head coach Jim Mora confirmed the true freshman is stepping away from the game to follow alternate dreams.
"Cordell informed me yesterday [Thursday] that he has decided to pursue other passions in his life," Mora said in an official statement, per the team's website. "In particular his love of film through his company Film School Productions.
"Cordell is an amazing young man with many talents, and we wish him nothing but the best as he continues to pursue his degree at UCLA."
UCLA's fall camp began in San Bernardino on Monday. Broadus never even reported, per Scout.com.
Unsurprisingly, Twitter refused to take the news lightly.
So first P Diddy's son cries and causes a situation at USC. Now Cordell Broadus, son of Snoop has quit the UCLA football team. #Entitled

Cordell Broadus should have gone to an out of state school where he could be his own man outside of his father

Cordell Broadus quitting UCLA just means a really rich kid with a free college ride cost some other less fortunate recruit an opportunity.
