PGA Championship Preview, Odds and Predictions
Unsurprisingly, Jordan Spieth enters the tournament a resounding favorite. The two-time major champion opens at +550 according to Bovada. The real surprise comes directly behind Spieth, with Rory McIlroy opening at +900. Not even a two month absence was enough to deter oddsmakers. Tiger Woods enters the weekend at a more modest +4000.
Tiger Woods
Speaking of Woods, the former world No. 1 officially hit rock bottom at a routine press conference on Wednesday. In an attempt to inject some humor, Woods opted for a comedy routine that fell flatter than a crisp dollar bill.
When asked if he had lost a step, or at least half a step, he regrettably responded, per CNN: "No, I don't think so. I can still walk the same pace on the golf course."
