Tonight at 7:05 p.m. ET, the Los Angeles Dodgers (60-45) and Philadelphia Phillies (41-65) open up a three-game set live from Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia.

Los Angeles has won four straight games as it opens up a six-match road trip while Philadelphia has won three of its last four contests and resumes a seven-game homestand.

The Dodgers swept away the rival Los Angeles Angels over the weekend in an interleague series while the Phillies took care of their division foes the Atlanta Braves by taking three of the four meetings.

Alex Wood (7-6, 3.54 ERA) toes the rubber for Los Angeles in his club debut while Philadelphia responds with Jerome Williams and he is 3-8 with a 6.36 ERA this season.

Wood was traded from the Braves to the Dodgers in a 13-player deal last week and he has plenty of experience facing the Phillies. The left-hander owns a 3.40 ERA in seven starts and 12 appearances through 44 innings against Philadelphia.

Shortstop Jimmy Rollins returns to Citizen's Bank Park for the first time as a member of Los Angeles, but he played against his old team earlier this year as the Dodgers took three of four from their counterpart in the City of Angels.

Rollins has struggled this season as he enters Tuesday hitting .216 with 11 homers and 33 RBI.

The Dodgers' offense has been paced by first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, who is second in the National League with 27 doubles and fourth with 200 total bases.

The Phillies rank tied for 26th in the MLB with 388 runs, but first baseman Ryan Howard has a team-best 18 homers and 60 RBI despite hitting .241 and fanning 101 times.

In the standings, Los Angeles enters with a three-game lead over the defending champion San Francisco Giants in the NL West while Philadelphia is in the basement in the NL East, 15 games behind the division-leading New York Mets and 17 contests back in the wild-card race.

East meets west as the Phillies host the Dodgers live tonight from Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia.
