Seth Rollins appeared on Monday Night RAW this week and challenged John Cena to a winner-take-all title-for-title match at SummerSlam.

5 Possible Outcomes For Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam

While the bout hasn't been made official, it has been rumored for weeks and the WWE wouldn't have The Architect challenge the Cenation leader three weeks out from the event without planning to go through with the bout on Aug. 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Rollins, who legitimately broke Cena's nose last week on the WWE's flagship show, offered to put up his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the face of the franchise's United States Championship at "The Biggest Party of the Summer."

Though Cena suffered a real-life injury, he still managed to finish the match and notched a victory over Rollins, adding intrigue to their next encounter.

Once the match is made official, it will be part of a huge double main event for the WWE at SummerSlam as The Undertaker is set to clash with Brock Lesnar in a WrestleMania XXX rematch.

Here are five possible outcomes to a potential Cena vs. Rollins encounter at the second biggest WWE event of the year:

1) Hounds of Justice Reunion

It appears farfetched, but it's always possible that The Shield could reunite at SummerSlam in some capacity.

Rollins turned on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns last June, but the WWE had to take notice of the great reaction the trio received when they ganged up on Randy Orton briefly during the Fatal 4 Way at Payback in May.

The Barclays Center would erupt if the leader of the Roman Empire and the Lunatic Fringe rejoined The Architect, though they'd have to turn heel in the process if they were to attack John Cena.

While it seems unlikely that the WWE would turn two of the top babyfaces heel, it's always fun to speculate about a possible Shield reunion down the line.

2) Game Changer

When it comes to SummerSlam, the WWE Universe can never count out Triple H getting involved in the proceedings, much like he did at the 2013 event when he delivered a Pedigree to Daniel Bryan, allowing Orton to cash-in his Money in the Bank contract to win the richest prize in the game.

The WWE has refused to turn Cena heel, but it would be groundbreaking if The Game were to help the United States Champion defeat Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Cena possibly joining The Authority would be a mind-blowing premise, and there were rumors that Triple H vs. Rollins was planned for sometime down the line. If Triple H screws his protégé out of the title, that could spark a program between the two.

The more likely scenario would see The Cerebral Assassin and The Authority help Rollins defeat Cena, keeping their golden boy on top of the WWE yet again.

3) Sweet Sixteen

It's highly probable that the WWE decides to give Cena the title back, tying Ric Flair's record by becoming the World Champion for the 16th time.

With Rollins on top, the RAW ratings have stayed under four million viewers each week, which could in turn drive the WWE to make a change.

While the dip in viewership can't all be placed on The Architect's shoulders and the creative team definitely deserves a lot of it, Vince McMahon has shown himself to be very impatient when things aren't going right with a new face on top of the WWE.

Cena has done wonders with the U.S. title and is the No. 1 face of the WWE, so the company could decide to have him win both titles to try and restore the order in viewership for Monday Night RAW. After all, Cena is their top merchandise mover and biggest name.

4) Rollins Retains

Though his championship reign seems to be in quite the precarious position now that the WWE has added Cena to the mix, there is always the possibility that The Architect hangs onto the gold.

It would be great to see Rollins retain cleanly for once, but it seems in order for him to defeat Cena, the WWE will book some sort of crazy outside interference to give the heel a victory by cheating.

Still, no matter how he wins, a victory over Cena for Rollins at one of the biggest events of the year would do wonders for the champion and help cement him as a legitimate star. With The Undertaker and Lesnar likely going on last at SummerSlam, it wouldn't be a bad time to keep the title on Rollins.

5) Fight Owens, Fight!

Kevin Owens and Cena engaged in what is a contender for Feud of the Year over the last three months, but the rivalry was quietly dropped after the Cenation leader defeated the former NXT Champion for the second time in three matches last month at Battleground.

Owens has swiftly moved on to a feud with Cesaro while Cena is now engaged with Rollins and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship scene.

Though Owens may be out of the picture, the WWE has built him as a diabolical heel who doesn't let anything go, so he could always be waiting to strike.

It's possible that Owens could rekindle his rivalry with the United States Champion by being booked to take him out when his guard is down and cost him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It would put Owens right back on the map as a legitimate heel.

Anything is possible once Rollins vs. Cena in a title-for-title match is officially booked for SummerSlam live from the Big Apple.
